In preparation for next Friday’s Spirit Week rally, class float building will commence this weekend. On Saturday and Sunday, come to the blacktop between the Peery Center and Science Buildings, anytime from 10 AM to 5 PM to help build your class’s float. Float building will also continue next week.

Registration of ACT (A-C-T) My Journey, an event designed to help students and parents navigate the college admissions process, closes tomorrow morning at 7 AM. The event, which will be held from 8 to 10:30 AM this Saturday, will be recorded for anyone who registers. Visit act.org to register.

Class Spirit Week T-shirts have arrived! Freshmen, Sophomores, and Juniors can pick up their class shirts today during lunch in Room 502, and Seniors can pick up their class jerseys before school, during lunch, or after school also in Room 502. Also, if you did not purchase a shirt or jersey online, they will be available to purchase in the ASB bookkeeper’s office located inside the Peery Center. Supplies are limited.

The Palo Alto Teen Arts Council is hosting their kick-off open-mic night this Saturday, September 24th at 7:30pm, held at the Palo Alto Children’s Theater in the Lucie Stern Community Center. Whether you’re a singer, musician, stand-up comedian, or poet, this is a great opportunity to showcase your unique talents. Sign up to perform at www.teenartscouncil.org!

Homecoming is coming up next Saturday, October 1st, and there’s still time to submit an entry to the Homecoming Asking Competition. Submissions close tomorrow at 11:59 PM. Visit @palyhocoaskingcomp on instagram for updates.
